Friday through Monday (May 25th-28th)
Sierra Surf Music Camp is being created with the idea of spending a weekend with friends, family, and community
in the study and appreciation of California’s indigenous folk music – Surf! We wish to bridge
the gap between professional and amateur players as well as founders of the genre and folks just beginning to discover it
in a fun and friendly setting.
Classes Offered:
Group Seminar by Instrument, Songwriting, Performance, Tone, Individual Lessons, Surf Beat 101, Surf Recording 101,
Surf Music History, Surf Band 101, Acoustic Surf 101, Van Etiquette, Live Sound Technique, Gear Maintenance/Modification,
and much more!
Activities: exercise/stretching geared for
musicians, hiking, mine tours, star hike, surf art with Jim Lee, baseball, volleyball, horseshoes, fishing, and campfires!

Command Performances: The Pyronauts, The

Cost: $250 per student, $400 per couple, 15% discount if registered before April 15th,
